Hi, I’m Casey Chafouleas — a Creative Director, designer, and storyteller based in Tucson, where I was born and raised (and still happily live close to my parents). I’ve always chased creative outlets — I started as a fine artist, once dreamed of becoming a fashion designer in New York, and even coded my first website in high school. That curiosity to make and experiment has shaped everything since.

Today I lead brand and campaign design at ExploreLearning, creating work that helps STEM classrooms across the country. Some days it’s campaign strategy, other days it’s editing video or building layouts — I like staying close to both the vision and the hands-on craft.

Recently, I’ve been leaning into generative AI as another way to explore creativity. One of my ongoing projects, 365 Song Lyrics, pairs music with AI-generated visuals — part design study, part love letter to the way technology and art collide. Music and lyrics have always been a compass for me, guiding not just what I create visually but also what I write. I often turn to essays and reflection as another form of creative expression, a way to process change and meaning in words as well as images.

Community is part of my practice, too. As Manager of the Tucson Adobe User Group, I bring local designers together to swap tricks, share tools, and stay inspired.

Outside of design, I’m powered by iced coffee (always iced), fueled by tacos, and distracted by my cats. I love traveling — including a recent first trip to Greece that connected me with my heritage — and I’m more than capable of quoting The Office on command.
